In 1893 Prosper DELORD, travelling distiller and cellar master took his alambic from farm to farm transforming white wine into Armagnac. A few years later he married Marie Duffau who owned several hectares of vines in Armagnac bought by her parents in 1890 and 1919 surrounding the village of Lannepax.
