Like many other vines, it was imported from France, and also the excellence of this wine is responsible for the fame of the Collio. It is a wine of character, fruity, in which particular aromas are interpenetrated, by fermentation and partial maturation of the wood, initially with a strong personality, then more harmonious that stimulate olfactory emotions.

A tribute to some historical white grape varieties of the territory, Capobranko is a blend embellished with organoleptic harmonies of French varieties acclimatized for centuries in the Cormonese hills, with notes of black cherry, morello cherry and more generally of red berry fruit. The controlled fermentation in barriques does not alter the aromatic excellence of the three grapes, the aging in bottle instead, over time, enhances it. The low yields and the structure of the wine are functional to a rightly high natural alcohol, in perfect balance with acidity.

Chardonnay grapes ripen well on the hills of Rocca Bernarda, maintaining an excellent relationship between sugar and acidity. With a warm and full taste, it is a wine of great balance. With fragrant and elegant aromas reminiscent of ripe apple.

Grapes: 100% Sauvignon.
Straw yellow color with greenish reflections.
The delicately aromatic aroma, intense and persistent, reminiscent of fig leaf, green pepper, tomato leaf, sage.
The taste is dry and full, with a mineral note in the finish.

The scent is delicate and well expressed, with hints of grapefruit, wild flowers, aromatic herbs.

Igor has been able to enhance Chardonnay with fermentation and maturation in tonneau (within the limits of 30%). In the wood the wine is enriched with aromatic complexities that blend well with the varietal olfactory characteristics, hints of banana and pineapple.
