RED WINE OF MONTEPULCIANO
Denomination of Controlled Origin
Rosso di Montepulciano has been D.O.C. only since 1989 and can also be produced simply by downgrading the grapes registered as Vino Nobile. In our company, on the other hand, an uncompromising choice has been made: we have selected some vineyards with peculiar characteristics to obtain a young, fruity, full-bodied but not hard wine. This choice has allowed us to place this wine clearly as the base wine of the Poliziano company.

Rosso di Montalcino offers the unique style of Casanova di Neri in a wine of structure and elegance but easy to drink and with a strong link with the territory.
For us, Rosso di Montalcino is a wine of primary importance. For its production we use grapes from dedicated vineyards that receive the same attention and care that we place in those destined for the production of Brunelli. The uniqueness of the terroir is reflected in that of the wine that expresses all the passion for the land and for the vineyard and the meticulous work resulting from a long multigenerational experience. The strong recognizability of this wine is also due to our mass selection of Sangiovese

Morellino di Scansano Doc Lohsa
A wine that knows how to be warm and intense, as is typical for a product obtained in an area near the sea, but at the same time conquers for enjoyment and pleasantness, fully expressing its vocation as a versatile wine.
The establishment of the Cortona Doc in 1999, the immediate affirmation as an area suited for international vines, together with the friendship with the Aliotti Tommasi family, owner of excellent land, were the inspiring factors for the birth of the Poliziano oenological project in Cortona. In 2006, convinced of the very peculiar potential of Merlot grown in the Pliocene clays of Cortona, we began to bottle In Violas.
